From template to tailored: Framework cloning helps you create customized content faster.
What is Framework Cloning? ✨
Fluint's new Framework Cloning feature allows you to create customized versions of any existing framework in our library. This powerful tool lets you tailor our pre-built templates to your specific needs without starting from scratch, saving you time while ensuring your content perfectly matches your requirements.
How to Clone a Framework:
Framework cloning is especially useful for tailoring our templates to your organization's specific terminology or processes. It provides a perfect balance between the structure of our expert-designed frameworks and the customization your unique workflows require!
And, it's a great way to 'see under the hood' how good prompts are structured 😉
1. Navigate to the Framework Library
2. Hover over any Fluint framework you wish to customize
- Look for the "Clone this framework" option that appears
3. Add optional customization instructions (if desired)
- For example: "Add a section for strategic recommendations" or "Write this in a more casual tone"
- This step is optional but helps tailor the framework to your needs immediately
4. Click "Generate"
- Fluint will create a copy of the framework's underlying prompt structure
- From here, you can further customize!
5. Customize your cloned framework
- Change the title to something clear
- Set visibility level (user or organization)
- Edit the content as needed:
- Add or delete sections
- Rename headings
- Specify or change prompt instructions
- Tweak formatting
6. Save your customized framework
- Your new framework is now available to use anywhere in Fluint!
Using Your Cloned Framework
Once saved, you can apply your customized framework the same way you'd use any other framework in Fluint:
- Run it in playbooks
- See it synced back to your CRM (Team plans only)
- Generate content on demand
- Share with your team (if set at the organization level)
Best Practices ✨
- Start with the closest match - Choose a framework that's most similar to your end goal
- Use the customization prompt to save time on manual edits later
- Keep framework names descriptive so your team knows when to use each one
- Consider personal vs. org setting to avoid framework cluttering
