Collaborating with custom sharing links let you control access and see who's engaging with your content.
Fluint's custom sharing links let's you create unique, personalized links for each person you want to share documents or meetings with—both internally and externally. Each link can be individually named and is inherently trackable, giving you better control over access permissions and visibility into who's viewing your content.
Doc Sharing
1. How to Share Documents
From within a deal workspace, start by opening any Fluint-generated document.
- Pull up a document
- Click the 'Share' button in the top right corner
- Create a new custom link:
Tip: Use the recipient's actual name (i.e. "Sophia") for better tracking!
- Set access permissions (View / Comment / Edit)
- Save, then copy & send your link
2. What Recipients See
When someone accesses your shared document via a custom link, they'll see:
- A clean, professional document view
- The ability to edit (if permitted) or comment
- No login or account creation required
- Their comments attributed to the link name you created
3. Commenting
Recipients with appropriate access levels can comment directly on a document. As a Fluint user, you can see and manage those comments by clicking on the comment icon when in Doc View:
*Note for legacy users: Links previously sent through our old UI will still be functional. However, there won't be a way to find or access those in-platform. Recipients can still use them to view/edit previously shared docs, and you'll want to migrate towards using the new link creation moving forward.
Meeting Sharing
1. Create a Custom Meeting Link
The same custom link functionality applies to meeting recordings, making it easy to share call content with external stakeholders. Sharing meetings allows recipients to access meetings without signing into Fluint (or needing to download the meeting) and you can control who has access.
- Navigate to the meeting you want to share
- Create a custom link (same functionality as doc sharing)
- Copy and send the link
2. What Recipients See
External parties viewing a shared meeting can:
- Watch the full meeting recording (if video is available)
- Read the complete transcript
- Add comments
- No Fluint account or login required
